Here for twice-exceptional humans, from the teen years to parents raising non-conforming kids of their own, whose strengths were celebrated while needs went unseen, leaving them feeling both too much and not enough.
Megan Mitchem offers individual therapy to adults, especially self-questioning parents and identity-exploring teens. Megan helps clients untangle shame, cultivate steadier self-acceptance, and build ways of caring for themselves as intentionally as they care for others.
She joins us as a student from Virginia Commonwealth University’s MSW program, offering sliding scale services as a clinical MSW student intern through August 2026.
In September we look forward to welcoming Megan back as staff therapist!
