Gidi is a clinical-placement MSW student intern who hopes to continue in the field of therapy after he graduates. He is an avid reader of all things psychology, philosophy, and esoterica, from historic to modern. These perspectives inform his belief that care should be holistic, taking in all aspects of the self—especially those that do not fit neatly into the social norm.

Gidi welcomes curiosity about the parts of ourselves and our experiences that can be difficult to categorize or explain. He brings an interest in meaning-making, identity, and the many ways people come to understand themselves and their place in the world.

If he is not reading or frequenting a local coffee shop, you can find him in the woods looking for wildlife, taking film photos, cooking a good meal, or asking his friends if they’ve had any interesting dreams lately.

Morgan joins Divergent Path Wellness as a MSW student intern, providing educational groups, body-doubling and community support. Beyond her role at the practice, Morgan is a lifelong learner and maker. She reads tarot and oracle cards, tends a growing collection of plants, and hunts for treasures in antique shops and record stores. She’s happiest outdoors, elbow-deep in a creative project, or curled up with a good book. She brings that same curiosity and intention into her work, a belief that support and care looks different for everyone, and that finding it often means making room for the whole, weird, wonderful self.

Lauren is completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Transformation at Eastern Mennonite University. Before becoming a therapist-in-training, her path included community outreach, environmental education, and work supporting community mental health and wellness.

Across her roles, Lauren has worked to create inclusive spaces where people can feel connected, respected, and able to participate as themselves. Her experience with restorative justice and conflict transformation also informs an interest in how we navigate differences, relationships, and our connections with the people around us.

Lauren’s path has also been shaped by a longstanding connection to the natural world. She has worked on a small farm, developed garden education programming for children, helped create a horticulture therapy program alongside a school counselor, and worked at the Wildlife Center of Virginia. She brings that same curiosity about people, their environments, and the many parts of their lives into her developing work as a therapist.
